Cooperativa El Porvenir is comprised of twenty-eight farms run by nine families: the Lorenzo, Zapata, Aguirre, Najera, Mendez, Sandoval, Ortega, Martinez, and Barrera families. This coffee is shade-grown underneath tree canopy and sun-dried on patios for 5-6 days.
