The producers at El Porvenir cup each batch of harvested cherries turned in for diligent quality control, ensuring only the most consistent flavor profiles. Cooperativa El Porvenir is comprised of twenty-eight farms run by nine families: the Lorenzo, Zapata, Aguirre, Najera, Mendez, Sandoval, Ortega, Martinez, and Barrera families. This coffee is shade-grown underneath tree canopy and sun-dried on patios for 5-6 days.
